A Note from the Olivares’...

 

 

Hello and thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit our Website! We are the owners, Hernan and Martha Olivares, but the children all know us as Mr. and Mrs. O! We want to begin by giving you some background information about ourselves and then we will share a bit about our goals for our preschool.

Mrs. O has a degree in Early Childhood Development from a state college in California and has a diverse background in business management. She has worked as a teacher in state, private and church preschools prior to us beginning our own preschool centers. She began managing our two previous preschools in 1995 prior to our moving to McKinney, TX and opening Top of the World Preschool. Mr. O has a technical background with experience in operations management and personal development as well as practical experience in education prior to joining Mrs. O in the administration of our preschools.

 

Our utmost desire is for each child in our Preschool to be the best they can.  We believe that when a child enters our Preschool the most important thing they need is love and time to adjust to their new environment.  As each child starts making new friends and develops a wider comfort zone they interact with other children and are ready to begin the learning process.  We believe that children need to be children and need to be given time to play, laugh and make friends and with structure and learning through play they can develop in ways that can only surprise us.  Each child will learn at their own speed and that is fine.  Trying to rush a child to do more than they are ready for at this early age will only create dislike for learning or keep them from developing a solid educational foundation.  Our main goal is to give each child a strong beginning for their entire educational experience!  We want their experience with us to be so positive that it carries them through elementary, middle and high school as well as college!  We want our children to be proud of their achievements and of being the best they can be and for them to grow and be able to have the maturity that is necessary so that they will be able to choose what they want to be in life rather than allow their shortcomings in education to dictate to them what they can be.
